Career Background
Previously, I was at NAVITIME Japan, developing and operating a transportation flow analysis data platform using location data.
At my previous job at Recruit, I was responsible for developing and operating a data platform used across multiple business units.
Why I Joined Turing
I wanted to return to transportation work, which I had experienced two jobs ago, because of its technical interest and high social impact.
I had recognized Turing as a company where colleagues who had produced impactful results at my previous job had joined one after another.
I was attracted by the creation of new technology and the pursuit of ambitious goals, which led me to join.
What I Do
- Data pipeline performance and cost optimization
- Creating curation tables using driving data and 3D object detection data
- Development of model evaluation systems
What Makes My Work Rewarding
The fact that development methodologies are not yet established. You can feel the dynamism of repeated trial and error, sometimes making major changes in approach.
Challenging world-class companies is also appealing. Chasing pioneers like Tesla as a latecomer feels like reliving the dawn of Japan’s great corporations.
Nothing is more exciting than seeing systems we developed driving on the road.

For Those Considering Turing
I believe autonomous driving will become a technology that supports many people’s lives in the near future. However, the form in which it will reach people is still unknown.
Going forward, Turing will take on the challenge of how to deliver this new technology to society. To do that, we need more team members. We look forward to welcoming those who can enjoy this difficult yet meaningful challenge together.

I did not own a car before joining, but since I joined a company that makes cars, I decided to purchase one. I like it for its good fuel efficiency and large cargo capacity.
