Relocation Support(Work in Japan)

Moving to a new country can be complex. At Turing, we provide relocation support to help you transition to life and work in Japan smoothly.

What we support

Visa & Immigration

• Support for work visa procedures (including COE-related steps)
• Support for dependent visa procedures for accompanying family members (if applicable)
• Guidance on required documents and the overall immigration process (with support from our relocation partner)

Travel & Moving

• Flight arrangement support (typically economy class)
• Support to arrange international moving and coordination with moving vendors

Housing

• Temporary furnished accommodation support for the initial period after arrival (e.g., the first month)
• Support in finding long-term rental housing (introduction/coordination via our relocation partner)

Settling-in support after arrival (mainly online)

Guidance and support for:

• Resident registration at the city office (in-person accompaniment may be available where needed)
• Bank account opening (in-person accompaniment may be available where needed)
• Mobile phone plan setup (accompaniment may be available upon request)
• Utility setup (electricity, gas, water) and internet provider guidance

One-time relocation bonus (if applicable)

We may provide a one-time relocation bonus to support initial setup costs such as housing-related initial expenses and furniture/appliance purchases.

• The scope and details of relocation support may vary depending on factors such as role requirements, start date, location, visa status, housing needs, and family situation.
• Visa processes may require significant lead time. Please plan early once your start date is being discussed.
• Some programs/benefits may have separate eligibility requirements depending on internal rules and timing.
